I worked closely with the digital product owner and developer to quickly and iteratively add new functionality to the site, including a Google Maps based branch and atm locator.
I developed the interaction and visual design based on established UI patterns. This required a custom content type in our CMS for ECU branches and ATMs that allowed me to control the pop up content when a map pin is clicked. The location search field was connected to the Google Maps API to allow for pre-population of the results list as the user started typing. This also allowed me to pinpoint locations with precise latitude and longitude values for each branch and atm. The map has a connection to the COOP network API so we could display shared branches and ATMs.
