For my Mom's birthday, I decided to have some fun in After Effects and learn a few new tricks at the same time. When I was 8 years old, my Mom and I created a book called "Mommy, Know How Much I Love You?" and it was based on my own quotes that I would say to her. I created all of the illustrations in the book with my set of Crayolas. This animation sequence brings the book to life as I used scans of each original page and broke them out into elements that I could animate.

For the soundtrack, I worked with my youngest brother Casey who is a talented guitar player and he wrote the song to accompany the animation. This was a fun project and my Mom says it's "the best thing ever" and she still watches it often.
